Temple 15 - Who's Contributing?

Hi folks,

I figured it's be a jolly nice idea to try and get one last Temple issue out before the end of the year, so I've set the deadline for issue 15 as 17th November.

Newcomers and comic veterans alike are always welcome.  Just send your contribution to the usual email address (listed at the top of the page), and mention in the comments here that you intend to contribute something (it's not essential to mention it, but it's always nice to get a rough head-count).

Cheers!

Test Issue of Temple 14 Now Available

A test version of issue fourteen is now available if you right click HERE!

Don't share the link just yet. This is just a test issue to iron out any bugs. Download, read, check for mistakes, and let me know if it's all okay or if something's gone horribly amiss.

Once we know what's what, I'll post the link again in a couple of days time, with any ammendments made, a cover pic and some nice blurby stuff and you can share as much as you want then.

Cheers.

SPOD! Comic anthology Kickstarter

Spod!  The oddites from space comic anthology containing a collection of sci-fi shorts originally conceived as part of Mark Millar's Clint project is looking for funding on Kickstarter.

As well as containing the work of several Temple Apa members (including myself, Dave Thomson and Neil Alexander) there's a whole host of rather impressive looking strips from comic creators around the globe.  And if you pledge at least a tenner, you will get an exclusive 16 page digital comic by me and Dave Thomson, which contains the making of Love and War, plus our first ever comic collaboration - The One Eyed Wench (pictured above).

Even if you don't have spare cash to spend you can help by spreading the word about the kickstarter, as without full funding it may never make publication.

Anyway, here' the link and thanks for your support:

Astrodog!

Temple member Paul Harrison-Davies has a brand new webcomic out, dedicated to the child friendly adventures of Astrodog!  Updated with new material every monday and friday, the strip is well worth checking out.  Paul's Astrodog strip has come close to getting professionally published on several occassions, but luck has never been on its side.

Hopefully the webcomic will draw more attention to Astrodog, so spread the word you happy shiny people!

Temple 14 - Who's contributing?

Hi folks,

due to a few technical difficulties (some pesky Russians apparently hacked the Temple email account a week or so back) I'll be setting the deadline back a bit to 16th June.

I still need to check with Mal that the Temple email account is still useable, otherwise we may have to change to a different one.

If you're interested in contributing to Issue 14 of the Temple, then please leave a comment here.  But it's probably best to hold off on sending anything to the current Temple email address until I've spoken to Mal (if you've already sent something then please let us know, incase it's been inadvertantly redirected to Russia).

Anyway, I look forward to seeing much artistic mayhem.

Dosvedanya, Comrades!

Temple 13 - Who's Contributing?

Happy new year, folks!

I've changed the Temple deadline to January 20th (two weeks from today).  So, if you fancy contributing then please leave a comment here (newcomers are always welcome!).  It's also a good place to advertise/preview any upcoming work in Small Press/Indie comics.

Just send your work in the proper format to Mal, at the email address listed at the top of the blog.  I look forward to seeing lots of shiny new (or dusty old) artwork.
